- Verifying and accepting employees connecting to the organisation within the platform.
- Setting employees position title and description.

Connecting Employees To An Organisation
The SQUIZZ.com platform allows people to connect to an organisation as an employee. Once a person's employee connection request has been accepted then a number of aspects can be set for their relationship to the organisation, including setting the following employment information:
- Position Title
- Position Description
- Position Start Date
- Position End Date
- Employment Email Address
Each employee of an organisation can be assigned to a People Group that determines the permissions, data, roles, and responsibilities that the person with the organisation. For example only selected employees who are purchasers may be able to buy goods and services on behalf of the organisation, where as other employees may only have permission to create sales orders for selected customer accounts.
Only people can initiate a request to connect personally to an organisation. Once a person has been connected then administrators of the organisation may set a person as being an employee or not at any time. If an employee is not signed up to the SQUIZZ.com platform then you may need to send a request to invite them into the platform first. Once they are signed up then you can advise them to find your organisation and make a personal connection to the organisation as an employee. You may want to provide them with an employee code so that you verify their connection request before accepting. The employee code helps HR people avoid accepting connection requests by people who are not an employee.
To learn more about how to have people connect to an organisation as employees read Orgnisations Connecting With People and Employees document.
Verifying A Past Employee's Position In An Organisation
Each person on the platform can enter details of their past employment positions. Each person can then request to have their past employment position verified by the organisation they were working for. Once the employment verification has been accepted then the person's past position will be marked as verified by the organisation, which helps people and other organisations trust that the person's professional background is accurate.
When an employment verification request is sent to an organisation, any people within the organisation that are assigned to its Organisation Notification Category will receive a notification allowing them to accept or reject the employment verification.
Note that current employees of an organisation can also send employment verification requests for positions they previous were assigned to within the organisation.
Exclusive Feeds For Internal Organisation Announcements And Communication
For each organisation there is the ability to manage communication between employees or other people work for the organisation. An effective way to do is using the Feeds feature. By setting up an "exclusive feed" where selected employees and other people can be invited into a feed, these people can be sent notifications of announcements from managers, team leaders, or executives, as well as optionally allow employees to post messages and have discussions with these internal organisation feeds. Exclusive feeds could be used for the following:
- Announce the strategic direction of an organisation.
- Announce changes in processes within the organisation.
- Announce changes in the organisation's structure.
- Announce new people employed within the organisation.
- Open up a discussion for events, activities or team building exercises within the organisation.
- Announce new positions and employment opportunities.
- Have discussions and announcements specific to each division or department within the organisation.
Using feeds removes the need to set up and use Emails, cutting down on administration, reducing on duplicate and redundant information being sent around to an organisation. Using exclusive feeds ensure that only people who are connected to the organisation and have been invited to the feed are able to view messages posted within it.
To learn more about setting up exclusive organisation feeds read the Feeds And Marketing document.
